We headed for the Griffith observatory this morning to get a
good view of the Hollywood sign, but of course when we got there, it was too
foggy to see the sign. We went out for a couple of minutes, trying to snap a
picture but decided to head for Beverly Hills instead. The Bus took us to the
Beverly Hills sign and we snapped a couple of selfies and a group picture
there. We all had a couple of hours to check out Rodeo Drive, walking by all
the expensive shops. I say “walking by” because I highly doubt that anyone
actually bought anything there. Me and a group of people didn’t feel like
spending a fortune on food, so we walked to Chipotle for some burritos.
Afterwards we had a cheesecake at the Cheesecake factory, which was soooo good.
After Beverly Hills we got back on
the bus, going back to Griffith Park in hope that the fog would be gone. It was
all good at that time and I’m sure we all snapped a few good pics of the famous
Hollywood sign. After being on Griffith park for the second time, we finally
went on a 5 hour bus ride to Merced. We made two bathroom stops, and after a
long and hot bus ride, we finally made it. In Merced we went to a pizza buffet,
YAY PIZZA! I bet everyone ate more than enough so we’ll all sleep well tonight
and get ready for Yosemite tomorrow!
